  • Residents of the Netherlands aged 18 or older
  • Renting a self-contained home (with own entrance, kitchen, toilet)
  • Rent between €188.02 and €879.66 per month (2024)
  • Low to middle-income earners (below income threshold)
  • Assets below €36,952 (single) or €73,904 (partners)

Create a DigiD account at digid.nl if you don't have one

Check your rent

Verify your rent falls within the eligible range (€188.02 - €879.66)

Apply online

Submit your application at toeslagen.nl using your DigiD

Wait for decision

Receive confirmation within 8 weeks; payments are made monthly
